This past week, William & Mary’s Pro Day at Zable Stadium played host to a staggering 18 NFL scouts. Aside from the top two W&M draws (defensive end Mike Reilly and wide receiver Tre McBride), several William & Mary players participated in individual drills in hopes of getting a look at the next level. Here’s the list of players who participated this week:
DE Mike Reilly
WR Tre McBride (did not participate in most drills, since he already destroyed the NFL Combine)
DL Jasper Coleman
LB Airek Green
WR Sean Ballard
TE Bo Revell
RB Keith McBride
S Ivan Tagoe
TE Robert Asmar
The players took part in several drills: Bench Press at 225 lbs, Broad Jump, Vertical Leap, 40 Yard Dash, 40 Yard Shuttle, the L Drill, Route Running & Pass Catching, and D-Line Drills
The 18 NFL scouts in attendance represented a wide assortment of teams, such as: the Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Tennessee Titans. It was a huge day for all of these players. And we wonder if one of the 18 teams will be bold enough to take W&M’s top player in this year’s draft, Tre McBride, in the early rounds this year. Only time will tell.
