In DOUBLE OVERTIME, down 89-91 with 4.0 seconds left on the clock, the Tribe’s all-time leading scorer Marcus Thornton dribbles, goes up for the three, and…PASSES the ball to Sophomore Daniel Dixon. Luckily, this turned out to be the best PASS of Thornton’s career. What did Dixon do with 0.5 seconds left? I’m sure you all remember. Tribe fans will look fondly upon that double OT game for the rest of time. We think it’s safe to say that Daniel Dixon has cemented himself in Tribe lore.
