The CAA released its all league selections today at 7 PM, and 2 players made it from the Tribe! The group included 1 first team all-CAA, 1 second team and one Defensive Player of the Year! Below is a breakdown of who made what team.

Conclusion:

William and Mary (19-10) will look to continue its quest for the prized NCAA Tournament bid on Saturday when they take on JMU in Baltimore. After 76 long and hard years, we think it is time that the Tribe removes themselves from the Sad 5. Yes, the team has been down lately, but if William and Mary shoots like they are capable of, then look out.

This is a very deep and experienced Tribe bunch, having lost the CAA Championships in back to back seasons. Of the 10 players that William and Mary rotates, 8 have significant tournament experience, and 9 of them have been there the past two seasons. There is not another team in the CAA that has more tournament experience than this year’s Tribe bunch. We think they are ready to pull off some magic, kind of like “The Shot” from last year. See you in Baltimore!
