The CAA released it’s all league selections today at 1 PM. A staggering 16 William and Mary players were selected with all conference honors, including 2 players of the year…that’s right, SIXTEEN TRIBE PLAYERS SELECTED! That’s a record, we don’t even need to check the record book to know that.

Senior captain DeAndre Houston-Carson was named CAA Defensive Player of the Year and sophomore DeVonte Dedmon was named the CAA Special Teams Player of the Year. Huge congratulations to the players listed below. This shows just how much talent the team has this year! Wow.

W&M Players of the Year

Defensive POY: DeAndre Houston Carson: 86 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, 7 passes defensed, 2 blocked kicks

Special Teams POY: DeVonte Dedmon: 18 kickoff returns for 480 yards, averaging 25.6 yds per return, one TD. 10 punt returns for 164 yards, 16.4 yards per return, 1 TD.

W&M First Team All-CAA Selections

RB Kendell Anderson: 202 attempts, 1218 yards, 6.0 yards per carry, 13 TDs

C Andrew Jones: Second time selected to CAA first-team; senior captain at the Center position; manned the top offensive line in the CAA this year

K Nick Dorka: 18/22 on field goals (81.8 PCT), 39-39 on PATs, career high 51 yard FG against Richmond

DT Tyler Claytor: 30 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 3 blocked kicks

LB Luke Rhodes: 2-year captain; this is the THIRD time he’s been selected to the first-team; 61 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles

CB DeAndre Houston-Carson (ALSO NAMED DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR): Senior captain; 86 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, 7 passes defensed, 2 blocked kicks

P Hunter Windmuller: 37 punts for 1616 yards, 43.7 yds per punt, 12 inside the 20, and 13 punts over 50 yards

W&M Second Team All-CAA

TE Andrew Caskin: 29 catches for 306 yards, 10.6 yds per catch,  3 TDs

FB Andrew Weidinger: Led the way the entire year for 1st-team selection Kendell Anderson

WR/KR/PR DeVonte Dedmon: 47 catches for 480 yards, 10.3 yds per catch, 5 TDs.

CB Trey Reed: 44 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 interception, 3 Passes Defensed

W&M Third Team All-CAA

QB Steve Cluley: 63.3 % completion percentage, 2438 passing yards, 13 TDs, 5 INTs. Also added 3 rushing touchdowns and 67 yards on the ground.

WR Christian Reeves: 22 catches for 424 yards, 19.4 yds per catch, 2 TDs
