W&M Involved in Second Longest Game Ever Played

In case you missed it, William & Mary’s baseball team participated in the second longest NCAA baseball game ever played. The game spanned 23 total innings, 6 hours and 3 minutes, and the highlights are being played nationally on ESPN today.

Although W&M dropped the game in a 2-3 score, it was an impressive defensive outing by both teams. The Tribe continues its series with the Cougars in today’s double header to close out the regular season, hoping to hold its #1 CAA ranking going into the league’s tournament play. Go Tribe!
